Jaycie's first lost tooth!

Here are some pictures of Phud trying to pull the tooth a day or so before it actually came out. Notice Charis in the background. She just wanted to be in the picture! She actually told us that! In fact, in one picture, she stuck her head right in front of the camera!

October 21, 2009.....Jaycie lost her first baby tooth!!!

Well, after two days of pulling Jaycie's first tooth finally came out! So yes, we get to be the tooth fairy tonight!!!!! I am not sure who is more excited, us or Jaycie. All she wants from the tooth fairy is a blow pop! We put her in bed tonight and she naturally got out. Phud told her that if she got out of bed again he was going to pull her tooth. So of course, a few minutes later, she appeared around the corner and wanted him to pull it, again. So Phud was on the phone and just started kinda wiggling it. i walked down the stairs from putting Charis to bed and it came out in his hand. He didn't even realize that it came out and neither did Jaycie. She was so excited and then eagerly went to bed after a few pictures so that the tooth fairy could come!

Here is a funny conversation that Jaycie had with her daddy this week...
Jaycie - "Daddy, are you and mommy the tooth fairy?"
Phud- "Well yes baby, I guess we are."
Jaycie - "So Daddy, you are a fairy?"
Phud - "NO JAYCIE, DADDY IS NOT A FAIRY!"
Too funny!

Charis has no idea that Jaycie lost her tooth and thanks goodness! The other night when we first discovered the loose tooth and started talking about the tooth fairy, Charis would not go to sleep on her own. She wanted someone to stay in there with her because she was afraid the "fairy" was going to come in her room! She told Phud after he played her a song, "Daddy is the fairy going to come in my room? Please sleep with me..." She is so funny!

While I am on funny conversations here is one from Charis this week...
She walked into my room early one morning and said,
"Mommy, I'm Erica, Jaycie is Emily, Daddy is Mr. Mark, and you are Mrs. Lisa."
For those of you who don't know who these people are, they are a family that is in our core group at church. Charis really LOVES Erica!
So I asked who Aiden was and she very quickly said , "Lilly"....Lilly is their cute tiny puppy!!!! So Aiden is the puppy! :-)

Aiden's quotes for the week are...
No, sit, get up, move, oh boy and aw maaaaan
He holds his own well!

Exciting Day

Today was a pretty exciting day in two ways...

First, Jaycie played her first soccer game. Phud is coaching her team which is sponsored by Chick-fil-a. She was so excited. We were a little nervous that it was going to get canceled because of the weather but they were allowed to play in the light mist/rain... Jaycie did so well. There was one other girl there today and they held hands during the warm-up exercises. It was really cute. During the game part (they do 30 min. of exercise and skill learning then they play a game for 30 min.), Phud rotated them in the goalie position. I was not a big fan of Jaycie being the goalie especially when I saw the kids head her way kicking the ball fast!!!!! (Phud admitted to me after the game that he was VERY nervous and didn't like it at all!) But it all turned out well! Jaycie stopped the ball from going in and there were no injuries! Whew! She was so excited! A little boy on her team scored the only goal. So we won our first game! Go chick-fil-a! (Yes, Phud requested this team sponsor....hee hee!)
The second super exciting thing happened at bath time. The girls always potty before they get into the bath. Well for some reason Phud put Aiden on potty and he PEED IN THE POTTY!!!! We were so excited! We cheered a lot and he was so happy. He sits on the potty a lot voluntarily but never has he actually gone. So that was a very exciting thing for us.
Oh the little things. :-)
Oh yeah, and there are no pictures because I don't have a brain and forgot to take my camera to the soccer game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How could I forget!!!!! A mom there took pics and is supposed to send them to me. So hopefully I will have some to post soon. But hey, I remembered Charis' Dora chair and drinks and snacks!

I should be in bed, but I found my camera cord!

Finally, I have found my camera cord!!! So now I can get back to posting! (hopefully) So I think I will just start posting the newest pictures and backtrack from there.... So here are a few from September. I actually took some of these today and some Saturday.
This is just a random picture of the girls. They wore their boots in the front yard so the spiders didn't jump on their bare feet when they walk through it. We have spiders bad! Gross! Notice the shirts...yes we took part in the get a free chick-fil-a sandwich if you wear a team shirt day! 5 free chick-fil-a's!!!! Awesome!

Here is Aiden pumping iron with his daddy. Phud believes in training them early!!! hee hee!!

We finally got Aiden's bed from a friends house where we had it stored for the move. We left the rails so we had to just put it on the floor for now. He was so excited when he saw it. He loves getting in Charis' bed every night. So when we brought him in his room to see it he actually gasped and then said WOW! It was so precious!! His sisters were just as excited I think.

Aiden slept in his bad for nap time today. I of course had to sleep with him. Once he fell asleep I left. I heard him waking and watched through the cracked door. He rolled around for a few minutes and kicked the wall a few times and then sat up looking really confused and then got up and came to the door and opened it. It was too cute.

We're Back!

WOW! It has been a REALLY long time since I have blogged! I am so sorry! Things have been busy here. We finally got moved back in the middle of June and then a few weeks later found out we were having number 4 and I can't find my computer cord for my camera to download pictures!!! So here are some pictures that Phud's mom took in July of the kids at the ed-venture museum and the Columbia zoo. Hopefully I will find my computer cord and now my battery charger for my camera soon! (I'm trying to get it together again Paw. Especially for you!)
Me, Aiden, and Jaycie on the Merry-go-round at the zoo. It was super fast!

Charis and Daddy on the merry-go-round. Charis does not like to ride on the ones that go up and down so she and her daddy sat on the peacock! Too funny to see phud on the peacock!

This is Aiden feeding the giraffe! He did it twice. Charis would not get near the giraffe and Jaycie kept pulling her hand away when he would get near to eat the food. Eventually I grabbed her hand and forced it up to the giraffe and he ate it as she screamed extremely loud! I think the scream was heard around the world!!

Here is a little family shot that Jeep took.

Charis on the tractor. Aiden was not very willing to get off for her to have a turn! It was not a pretty sight!

Aiden in his favorite spot!

Hopefully this will be the only time he wears football pads! I hope he never plays football!! Way to dangerous! Mommy can't handle that!

Aiden loved shopping in the pretend grocery store. He is stocking up on meat. He is such a man!

Jaycie made a butterfly "land" on her in the butterfly garden. You are not supposed to touch them but it is okay if they land on you. I think this little guy was forced to land where he did!!

Children's museum

Yes, it has been a very long time since I have posted, but here it is with lots of pictures. (I'm trying to make up for lost time. :-) ) Back in May, we went with Jeep to the Children's Museum in Columbia. It was so much fun! The kids absolutely loved it. In fact they have asked several times to go back and they talk about it almost daily. So here are a few pictures from the trip.
The kids LOVE curious George. They watch him every morning on PBS. Aiden enjoyed playing with his face.

Charis and George!

Jaycie posing with George.

They are milking a fake cow. It really did milk. Jaycie was really into it. Charis didn't care too much about milking the cow.

Aiden loved driving the tractor. It was very hard getting him off of it. (He might have screamed, cried and gone limp on me when I took him off.)

Charis on the camel. (It's not real)

Jaycie on the camel with wild hair!

Phud and Aiden chillin in the boat.

Jaycie and Charis are doing a news cast. Jaycie is really reading the prompter!!

Aiden on the camel. I, of course, had to hold him on.

Aiden with George again...

We went into the butterfly garden which was really cool. Aiden really liked the waterfall... He kept trying to climb the wall!! One time I looked away for a second and the man working there ran to grab him as he was about to fall head first into the pond part!! I grabbed his pants and all was safe.

The butterflies can land on you but you are not supposed to pick them up. Well this butterfly supposedly "landed" on Jaycie. Hmmm.... I think she put her hand next to it on a leaf and it crawled on her so she didn't "pick it up". She was very excited about it though.

The girls are looking at a TV that shows them playing the congas with some natives behind them. Aiden loved playing the congas.

This was just a cute picture of my man that we took the day before we went to the museum so I had to put it on here. :-)

Ice Cream

Aiden loves ice cream cones. When we make them, he yells at us until we give it to him.

This is a picture of him after he is all-done with it.

He's awesome.

Belated Easter...

I know Easter was a month ago but a lot has been going on and I have not posted pictures until now. So here are are a few....

Isn't he so handsome!!!
Here are the kids with Grandaddy after church.

Jaycie was of course the master at the egg hunt!

Charis was pretty good too!

Here they all are hunting their eggs.

Aiden loved hunting eggs!

I guess this would be their official "Easter picture".

This was our real live Easter bunny. Phud was cutting the grass on Saturday before Easter and he saw this baby bunny. The kids loved it!!!
